Jyoti's pregnancy yoga classes were highly recommended to me by a neighbour who had attended them.

I first joined Jyoti's class when I was approximately 15 weeks pregnant with my first child and attended every week up to the birth of my son. I am now pregnant with my second baby and have been attending classes again since I was 15 weeks pregnant.

I find Jyoti's yoga classes a great way for me to switch off from everyday life and gives me the opportunity to concentrate on my pregnancy and connect with the growing life within me.

The breathing exercises really helped me to concentrate on this area which is especially important to me since I am asthmatic. The gentle floor exercises we do really help me to safely stretch and relieve my aches and pains connected to pregnancy. Jyoti always tailors particular exercises to meet the needs of individuals in the group as well which helps them with any specific ailments.

I have always left each class feeling very relaxed, releasing stored emotions and anxieties, and aching less. Also, following classes, I always have a great night's sleep.

During my two-day labour, I was using many of the breathing and floor exercise techniques without me realising it at the time! I therefore managed the pain effectively and stayed as relaxed as I could throughout it all. I was also mentally ready for labour and that was due to the yoga. I intend to continue using these techniques for my pending labour also.

My physical recovery after labour was quick with no complications and I had a relaxed and calm baby. I am sure Jyoti's classes contributed significantly to both of these!

BREECH BABY – How a Chanting Session with Jyoti helped turn my Baby head down

I started attending Jyoti 's classes when I was about 12 weeks pregnant.

At 34 weeks I was told that my baby was in-transverse lie (side ways). The midwife did not arrange any follow-up appointments and I was left feeling very confused and worried about what to do next. I finally managed to get my community midwife to try and arrange a scan and follow up appointment at the hospital. I was reluctant to have either a C-Section or manipulation, which was what was in store for me if the baby did not move of its own accord.

In the meantime I mentioned my fears and worries to Jyoti, who suggested that I come for a CHANTING SESSION to turn the baby head down. I attended the session when I was 35 weeks pregnant.

I left feeling much calmer and more positive about the situation. I did not feel pressured into taking any further action. I went home and relaxed for the next 24 hours.

Overnight I felt the baby shift and move a great deal. The movement was different from the normal kicks I had been feeling. It was much deeper.

At my scan appointment (which came through for the next day), to my surprise the sonographer informed myself and my husband that the baby was now head down! It had rotated 90 degrees in less than 24 hours.

Both my husband and myself would like to thank Jyoti for whatever magic she worked on our baby. Now all I hope for is that my baby will stay in this position so I can have a natural birth and a healthy baby.

Healing Belly Treatment helped my placenta to position to its place:-

I had been told that I had a very low placenta when I had my first scan - which meant some bleeding would occur and I would more than likely need a C-section.

On top of this, I felt a lot of heaviness below in the womb region. On recommendation I went to Jyoti for a Healing Belly Treatment which could help lift the placenta to position.

I decided to do the treatment and immediately felt a lot lighter and the heaviness lifted completely.
